Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty Surpasses $20 Billion In Company Sales Volume

Executives from Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty (RSIR) announced the boutique brokerage firm (established in 2009) has now exceeded $20 billion in sales volumes over the past fifteen years as of July 2024. Meanwhile, new data compiled from Trendgraphix via the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) also reveals that RSIR is a consistent leader in luxury price points and broker productivity when compared to the top ten largest brands in the NWMLS network. These milestones affirm the company’s growth and trajectory and highlights new cultural initiatives for the brand, including novel retail operations and events venues.

“It is with immense gratitude to all brokers and staff members who contributed to RSIR’s journey as we cross this sales milestone and sustain our luxury and productivity leadership today,” said Dean Jones, President and CEO of RSIR. “We are thankful to our thousands of clients for their trust; to our fellow industry colleagues for collaborating over the years; and of course, to our franchisor, Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates, LLC (SIRA) for believing in our vision and supporting our continued growth.”

RSIR has consistently ranked as the highest ranked brand amongst its immediate peers year-to-date in 2024, including:

  • #1 – highest average buyer purchase values per broker

  • #1 – highest average listings sold values per broker

  • #1 – highest average listing values active per broker

  • #1 – highest listing volumes per broker

  • #1 – highest production on a per broker basis

  • #1 – highest retained commission rates

  • #1 – highest producer of SIRA sales in WA* (RSIR is the largest affiliate with approximately 72% market share)

“These benchmarks are really a reflection of the confidence, service level, and expected results that our valued clients seek of our brokers and our firm,” adds Jones. “Market share does not buy or sell homes, but the most productive and successful real estate agents do. We are fortunate to work with the most respected real estate professionals in the industry, and we welcome additional broker appointments and broker teams to join the firm.”

RSIR announced new leadership for the firm’s Talent Acquisition Team with Managing Broker Shannon Olcese heading the department. She is assisted by both Lorraine Rotanelli and Jeff Affronte in broker networking while Kelley Levi and Tanner Olcese have been appointed to Business Development Manager and Talent Acquisition Sales and Marketing Tech Support, respectively.

“We are carefully curating the company we keep by strategically placing our offices, our broker support teams, and our referrals throughout our expansive network,” adds Olcese. “We are investing in business development tools to encourage collaboration and lead generation for our brokers.”

RSIR has engaged in strategic partnerships with retail operators both in long-term sublease relationships as well as pop-up venues at other branch offices. Within its high-profile retail storefronts on the Eastside, consumers will enjoy Jocovine Bistro by acclaimed restaurateur Adrian Lopez in Bellevue and FogRose Atelier in Kirkland. Both venues are set to open to the public in summer 2024 and will provide all-day food and beverage services as well as host dynamic events on a regular basis, including live music, comedy shows, fashion shows, and other bespoke industry programs.

“We are confident in our dual brokerage/retail hybrid strategy to bring more vitality and business opportunities for both the company and our brokers,” says Andrea Savage, Chief Marketing Officer of RSIR. “We have always been an industry vanguard in marketing and events, and these high-profile retail venues are just another evolution of where we feel our culture and consumer activation is going next. We know real estate happens where the conversations are, so our retail collaborations will serve us well.”
